Funeral: Private with burial in Newark, Ohio. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Hurst. Carrie was born Sept. 3, 1931, in Newark, Ohio, to Esther Wolfe and Ernest Crawford. She graduated from Miami University, Oxford Ohio, with a degree in education. It was there she met her husband of 63 years, Donald Jack McGinley Jr. Survivors: Husband, Don McGinley of Hurst; daughter, Jo McGinley Gupton and husband, Chris Brooks, of Fort Worth; son, Michael Scott McGinley of Daytona, Fla.; grandchildren, Theodore Bryan Gupton, Crawford Morgan Gupton and wife, Mary Clay, Jamie Dawn May and husband, Aaron, and Steven Michael McGinley; great-grandchild, Field Watt Gupton; and her beloved cat, Henry."
