Myers, age 79, resident of Myers Meadows, Shelby, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 in Veteran's Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio following a long illness. Born August 23, 1925 in Shiloh to John W. and Hazel (Boyce) Myers he had been a Shelby resident the majority of his life. Mr. Myers was a former employee of Mansfield Tire Co. and was a truck driver for many years retiring in 1990. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during WWII and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #291. Clyde was an avid CB radio operator and enjoyed his QSL swapcards and sharing his World War II experiences. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law; Larry and Skeeter Myers of Macon, Georgia and John Myers of Mansfield; one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and John Yacob of Willard; 13 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Britton of Shelby; nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary (Woodruff) Myers in 1991, one brother, Leonard Myers and one grandson, Dustin Earl Stephens."

Funeral services were held on Tuesday for Mrs. Sarah Hollenbaugh who died last Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Peterson, at Lewistown, with burial In the Stony Point Cemetery, three miles north of Blaln, the Rev. L. E. Teter of Elliottsburg officiating. Mrs. Hollenbaugh was a daughter of the late John and Mary Kochenderfer Yohn and was born in Perry County, at Pine Grove. Her husband, David Hollenbaugh died fourteen years ago. She is survived by six children, namely: Mrs. George Peterson, of Lewistown; Mrs. Jacob Meyers, of Newport; Charles Hollenbaugh, of Buck's Valley; Martin Hollenbaugh, of Camden, N. J.; John Hollenbaugh, of Lewistown and Mrs. William Rodgers of Oklahoma and by one sister, Mrs. James Yohn, of Spruce Hill; Juniata County and one brother, James Yohn, of Carlisle."
