[55779] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine]," 13 February 2024: "Yarmouth - Ernest E. Beal, 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday afternoon, Feb. 5, 2024, at the Coastal Manor Nursing Home in Yarmouth, with family at his side. He was born in Jonesport on July 14, 1932, a son of Ernest Wellington and Ava (Reed) Beal. After graduating from Jonesport High School, he met and married the love of his life, Leah A. Urquhart on June 27, 1952, and together they settled in Jonesport to raise their five children: Alton, Robert, Wayne, Larry and Charlotte, before moving to Ellsworth about eight years later. Ernie had lived in Ellsworth for 62 years before his move to Yarmouth. He worked many jobs over the years, but his favorite was his many years with the Gilltex Company for whom he sold clothing to retail stores throughout Maine. Ernie attended the Bible Baptist Church in Hancock for many years before relocating to Yarmouth. Ernie served the Lord for many years singing, not only in his home church, but in other churches and nursing homes in the Downeast as well. He loved to talk with people, tell jokes to make them laugh, and to put smiles on everyone's faces every day, anytime he could. Everyone loved Ernie as he made so many friends over the years in the greater Downeast area and beyond. He was an avid sports fan, especially of baseball, and was an absolute fan of the New York Yankees and their storied franchise history. He was a loving, devoted, and hardworking husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who will be dearly missed. He leaves behind three sons; Robert Beal and wife Sheila, Wayne Beal, and Larry Beal, all of Ellsworth; his daughter Charlotte Morse and husband Steve of Franklin; his daughter-in-law Charleen Beal of Auburn; his grandchildren Ernie, who was named after him, Ashley, Tanya, Bridgette, Robbie, Nicki, Starr, Marsha, Jason, Jared and Caden; 18 great-grandchildren; his distant cousin, Hubene Brodie, of Ellsworth, who was like a sister to him; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife of 67 years, Leah Beal, his son Alton E. Beal who passed away on January 23 of this year, and a brother Harlan Beal."
[46828] Catherine's marriage record states she is daughter of Cecil Bond and Bertha Skalek. "The Akron Beacon Journal [Akron, Ohio], 27 March 1999," p. 53: "Catherine Grace DeWalt, 75, died March 26, 1999. She was a member of the N.E. Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She leaves behind devoted husband of 57 years, Howard; daughter, Frances Carr of Orrville; three grandchildren, Randal, David, and Michelle; three great-granddaughters, Christina, Amanda, and Erika; sisters, Irene Ray, Lucille Marziale, and Bertha Gay Brighwell, all of Florida; brother, Charles Bond of Tallmadge; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews."

[2451] In 2007 http://www.fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/BULGARIA.htm offers: "Maria Troiane (-[1089/1118]). The 'Alexeiad' records that 'the daughter-in-law of the Cæsar Ioannes-protovestiaria' was imprisoned 'in the nunnery of Petrion near the Sidera' when the Komnenoi plot against Emperor Nikephoros Botaneiates was discovered, referring to her as 'kinswoman' of Anna Dalassena and, in a later passage, stating that she 'was of Bulgarian descent'. The primary source on which her parentage is based has not been identified. Protobestiaria. She became a nun as Xene. m (before 1063) Andronikos Dukas, protobestiarios, son of Ioannes Dukas & his wife Eirene Pegonitissa (-14 Oct 1077). Co-Emperor of Byzantium 1067-1070."
