She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Bowker; a daughter, Geraldine Bowker Eaton and by three brothers, Donald, Carroll and Linwood Archer. She is survived by a granddaughter, Marie McNally and husband, Dave, and two great-granddaughters, Kelsey and Casey of Woodinville, Wash.; a son-in-law, George Eaton of Sunnyvale, Calif.; two sisters, Lois Joyce of Cape Elizabeth and Lillian Kelley of Machias; a brother, Russell Archer and wife, Winnie, of Meddybemps; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Hatt of Machias and Ruth Murphy of Franklin and many nieces and nephews."

He was born in Manchester, N.H., on Dec. 13, 1918, a son of Joseph C. Bergeron and Louisa E. Girouard Bergeron. He is survived by his daughter, Nan-Elizabeth Bergeron Neal and her husband, William A. Neal Jr.; his granddaughter, Abby J. Sirois, her husband, RJ, and his great-grandson, Ryder, from Orrington; his grandson, Lee A. Reynolds, and his fiancée, Taryn Rand, and his great-granddaughters, Hailie and Lyla, from Litchfield; two stepgrandsons, William J. Neal (Billy from Brewer), and Brian P. Neal from Wales; and his family; and his sister, Evelyn Kelleher, of Cambridge, Mass. Bert and Dickie (Marion Norwood Bergeron, his wife) moved to Litchfield in 1949 to the "camp" and over the years built a beautiful home with many wonderful memories. Bert owned a business on Front Street in Bath (Bert's Appliances) and was an avid golf player at the Bath Country Club, and he and Dickie traveled all over the country on vacations and snowmobiled throughout the state of Maine. Bert served in the Army in World War II in the Pacific front, and was a lifetime member of the American Legion William R. Bold Post 181 in Litchfield.
