Beaumont, Oxford, England, 1929, typescript at the Bodleian Library, Oxford, p. 19, states that she is daughter of Elizabeth de Beaumont who died in 1148, a mistress of Henry I and daughter of Robert, Earl of Leicester; this source states that Elizabeth de Beaumont and Henry I also had Ralph, Bishop of Angers (1178-1200) and Reginald de Beaumont, Earl of Cornwall, whose daughter Maud m. Robert, second Earl of Worcester and that Elizabeth m. Gilbert Strongbow, Earl of Pembroke and after his death she m. Herve de Montmorency, Constable of Ireland.
