[1790] A Duke Gerard was the Burgundian vassal of the early French ruler, Charles Martel, and came to Martel's aid, saving him from death in a battle against the Saracens - see "Histoire de Charles Martel" by Loyset Liédet (1467 - 1472). This may be father or grandfather of Gerard de Rousillion. http://www.chez.com/preskill/genmantes.htm reports in 2003 that Gerard de Rousillion is son of Lisiard, Comte de Fezen, and Bertha of Tours. Roussillion is in Languedoc, in southwestern France.

Gerald was born in Bradford, Sept. 30, 1922, to Thelma Hanson Welch of Bradford and Forest A. Harris Sr. of Howland. He was predeceased by his parents and the grandparents that raised him, George and Minnie Hanson of Braford; a brother, Raymond Welch of Bangor; and a granddaughter Natalie of Oklahoma City, Okla. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eunice Harris; a son, Daniel Harris of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Corrine Covey of Shawanee, Okla; twin daughters, Laura McElwain of Sparta, Mich., Leasa Harris of Oklahima City, Okla., and Cidy Harris of Sparta, Mich.; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Forrest A. Harris Jr., James Harris of Baileyville, and Gene Welch of Veazie; three sisters, Hope Oldenburgh of Lincoln, Leona Johnson of Bangor, and Loretta Ryan of Glenburn, many cousins and friends. Gerald was cremated, and his ashes will be interned in the Williams Cemetery in Bradford in May, a date to be announced in the spring."

He died in 1951 in Springfield, Massachusetts, at the age of 69, and was buried there. Amelia Stagnarp was born in 1886 in New York. She married Joseph P Pessolano on November 26, 1903, in Springfield, Massachusetts. She had three children by the time she was 22. She died in 1927 in Springfield, Massachusetts, at the age of 41, and was buried there."
