[58446] Judith's obituary: "Columbia Falls, Maine September 22, 2024, Judith (Bubar) Farnsworth, 89 passed peacefully at Down East Community Hospital in Machias. She was born May 10, 1935, in Jonesport, the daughter of Forrest and Gertrude (Norton) Bubar. She graduated from Jonesport High School in 1953 and enrolled in Husson College in 1954. She was an alumnus of Husson College, Bangor, obtaining her junior secretarial certificate in 1954. Judy was known to be one of the most warm-hearted and selfless souls, loved by all who knew her. Many who knew her, knew she adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and dogs (Benny and Bella). She married the love of her life, Richard, in 1955 and started a family. She was hardworking all her life in various positions, most notably, at Merrill Bank and Down East Community Hospital. She spent most of her time working on her and RichardÂ’s Cranberry bogs and roadside stand. At home she was a hardworking wife and mother. She loved taking care of her family and having family gatherings, gardening, cooking, painting/crafts, riding the dirt roads looking at wildlife and scenery, and traveling the world with her family. Judy is predeceased by her husband Richard Farnsworth, Sr.; parents, Forrest and Gertrude (Norton) Bubar; brother, Forrest Bubar, Jr.; sister, Beverly Bagley; and grandson, Richard Lloyde, along with one of the 'second loves of her life' her beloved dog, Bella. She is survived by her children, Melinda Soule, Richard Farnsworth, Jr. and wife, Jolene, all of Columbia Falls; sisters, Shelia Williams, Leta Hayward, and Darlene Bubar; seven grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Soule, Matthew Soule, Ashley Inda, Kate and Brittany Corbin and family, and Richard Farnsworth, III; five great-grandchildren, Skylar, Sage, Annabelle, Lucas, and Ella; among the many special friends she leaves behind, and there are too many to name here, are her particularly close friends, Marika Savoy, Cindy Moreland, Mike and Annie Furbush, and Sammy Kelley. Also surviving is the other 'second love of her life,' Benny, her dog. Judy will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her."
