Webster's birth was recorded in Harrington and in Perry. He married Nancy Noble December 20,1848 in Calais. Children were: Sarah Emma, Franklin M., Laura E., Frederick H., Nellie Gertrude, Mary S., Charles Edgar and Webster F. In the 1860 census Willard and Nancy were in Calais (5th Ward) with children Sarah E. then age 5 and Frederick H. age 3. By 1870 they had added Nellie, Mary, Webster and Charles age to the census and enumerated Laura E. then age 14. In 1900 Willard was 78 and Nancy 72 and in the household with them were grandchildren Millred age 13 and George age 8. Willard was still farming. In 1910 his son Webster then age 44 resided with him and was working the family farm along with grandson George. Willard died at age 93 from myocarditis and old age, a farmer, in Calais. Place of burial was Red Beach, Ernest G. Young & Co, undertakers, Calais. Nancy died in 1918.

[12901] Wilbury was a brickmaker, and had 25 acres which were separated from his Uncle Ebenezer's farm opposite what is now Berzini's Garage in Penobscot (1997). He also owned mills on Leach's or Mill Creek. His sons Artemus and Ashur operated a brickyard in Orland, ME. He and Deborah had 13 children. [52076] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 13 March 2019": "Ellsworth - Myrtle Tapley McVay, 98, passed away on March 9, 2019, on a beautiful bright sunny day! Myrtle was born Aug. 11, 1920, in West Brooksville, the daughter of Olden D. and Annie M. (Blodgett) Tapley. In grade school she was know as Myrtle Agnes wigtail Tapley. She was a 1939 graduate of Brooksville High School and received her Alumni pins for 50, 60, 70 and 80 years. After graduation, Myrtle and her husband, John, moved to New York, where John was a marine engineer. After eight children, the family moved back to Maine in 1960. Myrtle worked at Britts running the lunch counter for 10 years. She was head lunch lady for area schools for 10 years. After her retirement she went back to work as a private cook for Mr. and Mrs. Minot Milliken of Hulls Cove for several years. In Myrtles free time, she cruised, going on 12 total, with her favorite being Panama Canal, which she did twice. She did her last cruise at the age of 97. Christmas Eve was always Myrtles holiday, and became a family tradition for all and was always a grand time. She was a past member and president of the Golden Age at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Myrtle may have been 98 but she never acted her age. She was a very special lady to everyone and she will be terribly missed. Myrtle is survived by her seven children; Joseph from Dixfield, Ann Wells from Ellsworth, Elizabeth McPherson and her husband, Milton, from Florida, Margaret Day and her husband, James, from Ellsworth, Vern and his wife, Cynthia, from Waltham, Robert from Waltham and Douglas and wife, Gail, from Franklin. Twenty-three grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 36 great-great-grandchildren. She reached five generations four times! Myrtle was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, John R. McVay, and a son, John F. McVay from Germany."
