[15914] "The News [Wyckoff, New Jersey], 21 August 1930", p. "Funeral services for Spurgeon L. Bogert of Campgaw are being held today at 2:30 from the Campgaw Chapel in Upper Campgaw. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Bogert passed away suddenly on Monday following an illness of a few days. Death was caused by ptomaine poisoning. He was in his sixty-first year. Mr. Bogert has been a life-long resident of Campgaw and was born in the house in which he died, living on the same farm all his life. He was the husband of the late Mabel Lewis Bogert who passed away a few months ago. Mr. Bogert is survived by three sons, James, Isaac and William; one brother, Luther Bogert, and two sisters, Mrs. John Duryea of Sicomac and Mrs. John Munn of Glen Gardner, N. J."
