Born in Eastport Maine, USA he is the son of the late Colby and Evelyn (Moore) Hooper. Junior was a longtime fisherman and also worked for many years with the Department of Parks & Recreation on Campobello.Junior thoroughly loved being outdoors and in the woods often cutting lumber. He had a great love for dogs. One of Colbys most favorite things to do for many years was a love to pray for the young people at the United Pentecostal Summer Camp in the Harvey prayer room. Surviving in addition to his wife Wilma are his children Douglas (Roberta) of Lubec, Maine, USA, Susan Wilbur (David) of Perry , Maine, Elaine Greenlaw (Willie) of Campobello, and Byron of PEI 2 grandchildren Laura Cline (Jeremy) of Saint John, NB and Brooke Hooper of PEI, one great grandchild Rachel Cline of Saint John, 1 brother Brian (Lorna) of St Stephen, 1 sister Elizabeth Stevens of St. George, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Junior was predeceased by his brother Brent Hooper. Resting at Wilsons Beach United Pentecostal Church from where the service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm. The interment will follow in the Wilsons Beach Community Cemetery Head Harbour Road followed by a reception in the church hall."
