[25472] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_of_Luxembourg offers: "Anne of Bohemia and Austria (1432 1462) was a Duchess of Luxembourg in her own right, and as consort, Landgravine of Thuringia and of Saxony. She was born into the House of Habsburg, being the eldest daughter of Albert of Austria, the future Emperor-Elect. She also was a close descendant of the newly extinct Imperial House of Luxembourg, her mother being the last Luxembourg heiress, Elisabeth, queen of Bohemia, the sole daughter of Emperor Sigismund. Her posthumous brother Ladislaus, Duke of Austria (1440-57) succeeded, very underage, as king of Bohemia and later also as king of Hungary. Anna also had a younger sister, Elisabeth, who was to become later a queen of Poland and grand duchess of Lithuania. On June 2, 1446 the young Anna was married to William "the Brave" of Saxony (1425-82), Landgrave of Thuringia, a younger son of Frederick I "the Warlike" of Saxony. In right of Anne, William became Duke of Luxembourg from 1457 when Anne¨s brother Ladislas died childless, up to 1469, though being all the time in dispute with Philip III, Duke of Burgundy, an usurper, over that possession. William concluded that the possession's keeping was untenable against Burgundian attacks, and retreated to his Thuringian lands - that hoewever took place when Anna already was dead"

[2628] He is not likely to be son of Cadwallon ap Cadfan, although listed as such by Geoffrey of Monmouth's "History of the Kings of Britain." If Monmouth is correct about this relationship, the dates are wrong - Monmouth proposes that Cadwallon d. in 655. Cadwalader died in the Great Plague of 664 A.D. and is known as "the third blessed Sovereign, last king of Ancient Briton" {- "Royal Ancestors...," Collins, p. 93 - this line contains much legend and little provable fact}. "...Catwallaun's son [Cadwalader] earned a reputation like his grandfather's, honoured as a saint rather than as a warrior." {-"The Age of Arthur," John Morris (Scribner's, 1973, p.241)} Cadlalader was the last Welsh king to claim suzerainty over all Britain. "Briner Family History" opines that John is son, but he is possibly a grandson, of Barett Cutler and Barbara ___, both natives of Germany. However, proof of his ancestry is lacking. A Bernhard Kuttler, b. 8 July 1800 in Kusterdingen, Germany, emigrated to America in 1832 and d. by 1870 in Richland Co., OH - his wife was Christina Barbara Grauer, b. 21 April 1805 in Rommelsbach, Germany, m. 29 Jan 1824 in Kusterdingen, d. 13 June 1894 in Richland Co., OH. (Bernhard is son of Johann Georg Kuttler and Anna Katarina Walker.)
In October, 2005 Ruediger Kemmler (r.kemmler@gmx.de) emailed from Germany: "Yesterday I spend some more time on the research of the Cutlers in Richland Co. and there are some challenges with the data provided in total. From letters of Georg Shettler during 1850 and 1890 I definetely know that George Shettler did settle near Shelby in Richland Co. from 1842 and 1848. The letters also provide the information that a Kuttler family was his neighbor and they very likely came from the same area. In 1888 Mrs. Kuttler was still alive. In the census of Richland Co. from 1850 I'm pretty sure that I have found the emigrated family of Bernhard Kuttler and his wife Christina Barbara Grauer Kuttler. The dates fit and also the dates of the daughter Christina are in line with the expectation. However the name was adopted to Cutler and Bernhard to Barett.
"The census files indicate that they had 4 more children born in the U.S. beside the three they already had in Germany. The two oldest German ones are not listed in the census anymore. As they have been 25 and 23 they could be living elsewhere with own families already. In the 1870 census I have found the family of Barnett Cuttler, the son of Barrett and Barbara Cutler mentioned in the Census 1850 already. The census noted 5 children from which the oldest is 11 John A. Cutler. Barbara Cutler lives in the household of Jonathan Picking being the husband of her daughter Mary. There is a death notice available on the Richland Co. website about the death of Barbara Cutler and the dates giving there match exactly with the dates of Barbara Grauer Cutler.
"Now back to the information you provided on your website for the Cutlers. The parents of Johann Harrison Cutler are indicated as Barrett Cuttler and Barbara ... both natives of Germany. When I first read this and send you the immediate email I naturally thought this could be the emigrated couple. But when I entered the data in my genealogy programm I noted that something doesn't fit. If the birth date of Johann Harrison Cutler is correct, Barbara would have been 58! I have seen some very exceptional pregancies in higher ages but this one seems not be possible. So this would mean that John Harrison Cutler must be the son of Barret Cutler and Fianna Kindall who married in 1854. Unfortunately now the census information for this couple given in 1870 doesn't fit any more. John A. the most likely candidate is two years older and in the questionable year Mary B. was born.
From the marriage records in Richland Co. I have noted that there must have been another Cutler family living in Richland Co. as there are several marriage notices I couldn't match. 1840 James Cutler with Eliza Bodine. 1854 Joseph Thomas with Catharine Cutler. So finally it turns out that there is more clarification needed.

Shortly after marriage Mr. Snow removed to Marshfield, where he became one of the leading citizens of the town; was surveyor of highways in 1651, constable 1652, representative to the General Court of Plymouth Colony in 1656 and twenty years following, selectman in 1666 and afterwards several years, collector of the excise 3 June, 1668, and member of the Plymouth Council-of-War for Plymouth Colony in 1675. Sometime before his death he gave to the town a piece of land near the meeting-house for a graveyard, where he was buried, and which is still in use.
