[47210] Grace's obituary: "Grace E. Johnston McMichael, 86, a lifelong resident of Tionesta, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at the Titusville Area Hospital. Born Aug. 26, 1915, in Tionesta, she was a daughter of Charles M. and Bertha L. Hunter Johnston. She was a lifelong member of the Tionesta United Presbyterian Church where she was active in the ladies sewing circle. Mrs. McMichael retired in 1976 from the Tionesta Post Office where she worked as a postal clerk. She was married May 19, 1934, in Frewsburg, N.Y., to Jack McMichael, who preceded her in death May 18, 1991. Mrs. McMichael is survived by one son, Gary J. McMichael and his wife, Barbara E., of Tionesta; one daughter, Susan E. Mealy of Tionesta; a close friend and friend of the family, Herbert E. Small of Tionesta; two sisters, Freda L. Carnahan of Titusville; Mrs. Wade (Helen M.) Kinch of Tionesta; and eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. McMichael was preceded in death by one brother, Linas Johnston."
