He is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Simmons, Charleston; Carole Smith, Brewer; and Marilyn Scribner, Dover-Foxcroft; two sisters, Ethel Smith Kenduskeag and Mable Robbins, Bangor; 12 grandchildren; 14 gret-grandchildren, several nieces nephews and cousins."
