The family resided in Path Valley, now in northern Franklin Co., PA. Other children: Abram, Joseph, Samuel, George, Jerry, Levi, Catharine (m. Simon Mower), Harriet (b. 28 Jan 1803, m. Samuel A. Shearer), Fannie (m. Nehemiah Harvey) and Daniel, Jr. The home farm was about a mile from the Amberson hamlet and was his parents' farm - see Orphans Court A:183 and 419. [Find A Grave memorial 39578205 states Daniel was born in Abbottstown, Adams Co., PA.]
