In 2007 http://www.fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/ANGOULEME.htm offers: "Guillaume d'Angoulême, son of Vulgrin II Comte d'Angoulême & his first wife Pontia de la Marche (-Messina 7 Aug 1179). 'Willelmus Talafars comes Engolismensæ filius Vulgrini comitis' donated property to Saint-Pierre d'Angoulême by charter dated to [1089/1101] which refers to donations by 'Willelmi Talafer avi mei et Vulgrini patris mei'. He succeeded his father in 1140 as Guillaume VI 'Taillefer' Comte d'Angoulême. 'Guillelmus Talaferii comes Engolismensis' exempted Notre-Dame de Dalon from taxes on its lands by charter dated 1146. He joined the crusade 1147 and 1178. An exchange of territories with Saint-Amant-de-Boixe recorded in a charter dated to [1146/59] recites prior donations by 'Vulgrinus comes Engolismæ' and after his death by 'filius suus domnus Vuillelmus Talafer'.
- m firstly (after 1137) as her third husband, Emma de Limoges, widow firstly of Bardon de Cognac and secondly of Guillaume X Duke of Aquitaine [Guillaume VIII Comte de Poitou], daughter of Ademar II Vicomte de Limoges & his first wife _____ . 'Emma comitissa, uxor comitis Engolismensis, filia Ademari vicecomitis Lemovicensis' donated property 'ripas stagni de Chalamans' to Notre-Dame de Dalon by undated charter. The primary sources which confirm her first two marriages have not so far been identified.
- m secondly (after [1148]) as her third husband, Marguerite de Turenne, widow of Ademar [IV] Vicomte de Limoges and divorced wife of Ebles [III] Vicomte de Ventadour, daughter of Raymong [I] Vicomte de Turenne & his wife Mathilde du Perche. Her parentage and first marriage are confirmed by the cartulary of Tulle St Martin which records a donation by 'Ademarus vicecomes Lemovicensis et Aimericus de Gordo mariti duarum sororum Bosonis, Mangnæ et Margaritæ' dated 21 Dec 1143 made 'pro anima Bosonis vicecomitis de Torenna qui gladio corruit' on the day of his burial, authorised by 'Ebolus vicecomes de Ventedorn et Archambaldus vicecomes de Comborn', and made 'in manu domni Ebali abbatis Tutellensis patrui ipsius Bosonis'. The primary source which confirms her second and third marriages has not yet been identified. 'Vuillelmus Talafers comes Engolismensis Vulgrini filius et Margarita uxor mea et filii nostri Vulgrinus scilicet primogenitus noster, Vuillelmus Talafers, Ademarus, Grisetus, Fulco et Almodis filia nostra uxor Amanei de Lebret' transferred rights to Saint-Amant-de-Boixe by charter dated 1171."
William died at Messina on his way home from the Holy Land. He was eleventh Count of Angoulème. He kidnapped his first wife, Emma de Limoges, from her affianced, reports Carr P. Collins, "Royal Ancestors of Magna Charta Barons, " p. 238, where Marguerite de Turenne is given as Emma's Mother (wife of Aymer IV, Vicount of Limoges).

[32943] "Conrad was born in the year that we declared our independance. He was only ten years old when his family migrated to the Yourk and Adams County areas of Pa. He was on his own in Berwick Township where he paid taxes in 1790. He married Catherine Norbeck, whose family had also migrated to the area. They moved around quite frequently, 1801 he was in Mt. Pleasant Twp, 1805 back in Berwick, 1813 in Straban, then from 1825 to 1827, in Cumberland Twp. His brother Henry sued him for money that he owed in 1827. He was later released from the debt when Henry died. Conrad started the migration west. He moved from Adams County to Franklin County around 1827 to 1830. He resided in Hamilton Twp first. His son Joseph and grandson William attended the Lauden School in Hamilton Twp. in 1830, moving on tp Fannett Twp and acquired 389 acres in 1835. This location became known as the Eckenrode Knob. This is a mountainous area and they had to hike over a peak to get to church. There is an annual Eckenrode gathering there every August. Conrad died at the age of 73 with a large estate to settle." - "Eckenrode Family Tree" in Ancestry.com in 2012.
