Their son Arthur was persecuted by King John who perceived him as a rival for the English throne (Duke Arthur I of Brittany, d. 1203; probably murdered at the behest of King John); they also had a daughter, Eleanor (d. 1241 ) and a daughter Matilda (b. 1185/6, died young). She was the daughter of the late Edward and Frances (Wardwell) Vogell. Cheryl enjoyed making crafts and working in her flower garden. She had an extreme passion for wildlife and raising orphaned animals. She is survived by her two sons, Danny Heath of Ketchikan, Alaska and Shawn Heath and wife, Kathy, of Bucksport; one daughter, Sally Jo Heath of Penobscot; her partner, Michael Billings of Orland; and her six grandchildren: Chase of Juneau, Alaska, Jake and fiancé, Rae Dela Cruz, Gage and Braydan all of Ketchikan, Alaska, Emily and fiancé, Josh Leach, and Tyler, all of Bucksport; one great-granddaughter Sophia of Ketchikan, Alaska; her siblings Sandra "Shanti" Jo Rausch of East Auburn, Peter Vogell and his wife, Roseanne of Castine, John Vogell of Bangor, Scott Vogell and fiancé, Susan Macomber of Castine; and several nieces, nephews, and loving friends. She touched many lives and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her."
