[42392] Fredereick's obituary: "Frederick C. Derau, Sr. 76, beloved husband, father, brother and papa passed away May 30, 2008 at his home in Eddington surrounded by his loving family. Mickey was born in Dedham, Massachusetts December 30, 1931 the son of Frederick M. and Evelyn (Bickford) Derau. He married his beloved wife Charlotte (Bryant) on August 6, 1954 and together they built their home in Eddington where they raised their family. Mickey worked at Eastern Fine Paper, Footman's Dairy, the University of Maine and Brewer High School, where he made many lasting friendships. Mickey was a Korean War veteran, having served his country aboard the GM LSMR 522 from 1950-1954. He loved to hunt and fish and recently shared many stories of his trips to Frank Tardiff's camp where many lasting memories were made with his special friends, Frank and Tori Tardiff. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Charlotte Derau 'Princess Pine', his loving children and their significant others, Susan Derau and Kent Libby and Frederick 'Mickey' Derau, Jr. and Dennis Hunt. He is also survived by one sister, Marion Touhy of Dedham, Massachusetts and her daughters, Marion and Martha and their families; a special niece Ellen Plissey and family of Georgia; 'adopted granddaughter' Terri Boulier 'Porkchop', special 'adopted family' the Bouliers; his wife's brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews. Mickey's family and friends meant the world to him. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother-in-law Jack Touhy and his niece Elizabeth Touhy."

She died from a recurrance of tuberculosis. John Hench Ritter was b. 3 Oct 1829. He d. 26 Sep 1908 in or near Loysville, Perry Co., Pa. He married Sarah Ann Baker (b. 17 Oct 1840, d. 11 Dec 1912, m. 27 Nov 1866). John was a farmer, inherited and occupied his father's farm near Loysville. She was born Jan. 18, 1910 at Bucksport, the daughter of Newell A. and Ruth (Wescott) Stover. Mrs. Silsby attended the Bucksport schools and graduated from Bangor High School. She had been employed with the YWCA of Bangor for several years. She was a member of the Hammond Street Congregational Church where she belonged to the Women's Fellowship and the Cheerio Club. Mrs. Silsby was a member of the Eastern Maine General Hospital Auxiliary, Norumbega Club of Bangor, King's Daughters, Stearns Circle, and the Tuscan Chapter O.E.S. No. 148 of Bangor. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Judy Silsby of Manchester; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Earl McGrow of Hampden; one sister, Margaret Eaton of Bar Mills; one brother-in-law, Warren Feyler of Auburn; four grandchildren, Charles Silsby III and Susan Silsby, both of Manchester, Douglas McGraw, Linda (McGraw) Berry and her husband, Brian, all of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. . . . Spring interment will be in Aurora Cemetery."
