They then joined Alexander and other members of the Klinger and Heist families in Reading. Philip and Eva Elisabeth had seven children, all of whom were born in the Reading area. Eva Elizabeth and children moved to the area near Klingerstown about the time of the Revolutionary War. She did not care for life in the wilderness and went back to Reading with a group consisting of her brother-in-law, Alexander Klinger, his wife and the family of Abraham Hoffee ca 1795. She died in Reading after 1795. Her place of burial is unknown."

Michael married Salome Hepler on 8 Aug 1817 in Barry Twp., Berks (now Schuylkill) Co., PA. He was a local Preacher and held services throughout the Deep Creek and Mahantongo Valley. He was instrumental in the founding of the Barry Immanuel Evangelical Church, and donated the land for the Church and Cemetery.
Michael died near Lavelle, Barry Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA and was initially buried in Reed Cemetery. NOTE: Michael's body was later moved to his final resting place at the Barry Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church Cemetery south of Lavelle, Schuylkill Co., PA."

He was born in Orland March 14, 1921, the son of Gilbert R. and Gertrude (Leach) Snowman. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Army and was a member of the Norman N. Dow VFW Post of Bangor. He was employed for 30 years at St. Regis Paper Co. in Bucksport. He was a graduate of Brewer High School, Class of 1938, and was an outstanding athlete in football and baseball, having played in the Eastern Maine League for several years. He is survived by his mother of Brewer; his wife, Marian (Grant) Snowman of Belfast; four sons, Stephen of Bangor. Bruce of Stockton Springs. Jeffrey of Orland and Christopher of Orland; two stepsons, Alan Color of North Berwick and Lynn Color of Waldo; one step- daughter Sally, Bell of Florida; two brothers, Eugene Snowman of Maryland and Fred Snowman of Mt. Carmel New York; five sisters, Barbara Doll, Katherine Luce and Helen Irwin, all of Brewer, Gertrude Weston of Bangor and Myrna Nason of Portland; seven grandchildren; one step-grandchild; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins."
