(2) Mary Winslow (b. 13 March 1777, d. 9 Jan 1854, daughter of Elijah Winslow of Newcastle and Eliza _____ (b. Somersworth, NH). With Anna he had 13 children and with Mary he had nine children. He was the first settler in South Penobscot, 1772, and Mark E. Honey ("Castine Patriot," 8 July 2004, p. 5) states that he served as a soldier during the War for American Independence. Reuben served in Col. Jonathan Buck's Reg. Aug. 19, 1777 to Sept. 28, 1777, served at Machias [DAR, SAR line].

Esquire to the Body of King Henry VI, Constable of Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. Serjeant and keeper of the King's tents and pavillions, councillor of Jasper Tudor, Earl of Pembroke and son of Dafydd Fawr. Marshall of the sessins at Carmarthen and Cardigan.
Husband of Edith Saint John, the daughter of Sir Oliver Saint John and Margaret Beauchamp. They had two sons and one daughter; Sir Richard, Knight of the Garter, Henry and Eleanor, the wife of Sir Ralph Verney. Their son Richard would marry Margaret Plantagenet, the daughter of George, Duke of Clarence and Isabel de Neville, who would be executed, beheaded at the Tower of London without trial 12 May 1539 by orders issued by King Henry VIII, the last remaining member the royal House of Anjou, also known as the Plantagenets. Secondly, he married Bone Danvers, the daughter of John Danvers of Ipwell, Oxfordshire and Joan Bruley. They had no issue. Sir Geoffrey died 04 Jan 1479, leaving a will dated 12 Oct 12478, proved 21 March 1479, requesting burial with Edith at Bisham."
