Phyllis was born on May 25, 1928, in Atkinson, Maine, to Helen and Wilbur Kinney. Phyllis is survived by her son, Gary and his wife, Joanne, Smith; daughter, Diane Smith; grandson, Benjamin Cole; stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren, William Robinson, wife, Rudie, and their children, Noah, Aurora, and Asa, Brendan Robinson and his children, Kellan and Sophie, Ashley Holmquist, husband, James and their children, Ainsley and Allie. Phyllis is also survived by one brother, Wayne Kinney, his wife, Lennie; sisters-in-law, Eunice Mitchell and Mary Smith; and many nephews, nieces and special friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Smith; parents, Helen and Wilbur Kinney; and brothers, Calvin and Bernard Kinney. Phyllis enjoyed spending summers at Sebec Lake and winters in Brooksville, Florida, surrounded by family and friends. She shared a passion for quilting with many of her friends. Phyllis worshiped at Atkinson Methodist Church."
[15462] Sylvan suffered a fatal heart attack while going for lumber to build a new house on the Willamette River at Jasper, the community SE of Springfield where the Blighton families lived. Sylvan and Hazel had Donald Sylvan Peterson, born 20 Dec 1930 in Eugene, OR, d. 31 July 1949 in San Jose, CA in a motorcycle accident; he was serving in the U. S. Navy; he is buried in Westlawn Memorial Park with his parents.
