He was born January 31, 1947, in LaGrange, a son of Walter and Myrtle (Moulton) Buzzell. Ken graduated from Corinna Union Academy and served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969. He was married to his first wife, Janie Johnson and they had 2 daughters. Ken married Joanne Micue in 1989. They resided in Skowhegan, for a couple of years and then moved to Newport, where they built their home. He was a supervisor of construction for Sheridan, and then C.M. Builders. Ken was a Legionnaire and was a member of the Maine Antique Tractor Club After retiring he thoroughly enjoyed working on old tractors and was known locally as 'the tractor man.' In addition to his wife of Newport, he is survived by his daughter, Felancy Grant and her two children, Nick and wife, Kailee, and Daegin Grant; 3 sisters, Charlene, Beulah, and Shirley; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and stepchildren Heather Micue and Ronald Micue. He was predeceased his sister, Arlene; and 2 brothers, Carl and Lloyd."

[999] Catherine's obituary 19 Dec 1896,Anderson Morning Herald: "PROMINENT LADY DEAD - Mother of Stephen and Timothy Metcalf died rather suddenly. Mrs. Catherine Metcalf, mother of Stephen Metcalf, of this city,and County Commissioner Timothy Metcalf, died about 8 o'clock last evening, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. C. Carver, at Alexandria. Mrs. Metcalf was in her seventy-eighth year, and had been very feeble for some time. It was not known, however, by her sons that she was seriously ill until yesterday morning, when a telegram was received from Mrs. Carver. Commissioner Metcalf, Mrs. Stephen Metcalf and son Eugene and A. C. Carver drove to Alexandria. The old lady was gradually sinking and about eight oclock passed away. Mrs. Metcalf was born in Wayne County, Ohio, in March 1818. She was married to David Edward Metcalf in 1840 and in 1845 they moved to Boone township, this county. The husband died in 1862. There was a family of eight children, four of whom survive: Stephen Metcalf, of Anderson, Timothy Metcalf of Boone township, Mrs. D. K. Carver, of Irvington, and Mrs. A. C. Carver, of Alexandria. The two sisters named married uncle and nephew. The deceased, for many years, made her home with her son Timothy. During the past two years she has divided the time among the children."
