Funeral services were held Sunday at the Congregational church here with Robert Haldane, Jr. of the Bangor Theological seminary officiating. Bearers were three sons Amos Mathews, Jonesport, James and Harry Matheas, Milbridge and a son-in-law, Noyce Alley, Beals. Burial was in Milbridge cemetery."
