[1354] Samuel became, like his father, a cooper. He resided on the west end of the Goldthwaite farm on what is now Peabody Town Square (near Salem, MA). See "The History of Salem, Massachusetts," Sidney Perley (Salem, MA), Vol. 1, p. 356 which lists his ten children. In 2019 https://www.geni.com/people/Thomas-Goldthwaite offers: "Samuel Goldthwaite, (of the second generation) like his father, was a cooper, and lived in Salem. For many years during his lifetime and that of his immediate descendants, four family homesteads lay side by side on the original Goldthwaite farm, opposite the site where the Peabody church afterwards was built. He died about the year 1718, leaving ten children and perhaps more."
