Born July 7, 1896, at Little Deer Isle, son of Mr. and Mrs Harland Billings, he was a member of Reliance Lodge, A.F. and A.M., of Stonington. and the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Surviving are his wife, Rita; two sons. Sheridan Jr. of Deer Isle, and Richard of Stonington; a daughter, Mrs. Natalie Conary of Deer Isle; a brother, Cecil of Stonington; and six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p. m. at Bragdon's Funeral Home, Stonington, with Elder Benjamin Carter officiating. Burial will be at Gray Cemetery, at Little Deer Isle."
