Olive married James Stover. Eliakim Wardwell married Catherine Reidhead, his cousin by whom he had eleven children. Their names were John, Mary, Ann, Ruth, William, Ira, Eliakim, Abagail, Burnham, Joseph, Catherine and Fersis. 'They are all dead but Ruth, Catharine and Burnham. Samuel Wardwell married Polly Banks by whom he had a large family whose names I omit. They are dead but Washington Wardwell. He is about 70 years old. Eben Banks died in the West Indies. He was an officer on board a British man of war." However, Olive Banks, daugher of Aaron Banks, apparently m. William Reidhead and appears to be mother of Catherine; see family elsewhere in the database.

His greatest joys were his horse, Maude; his children, grandchildren, and talking on the phone to Frank almost every night. John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elaine Tapley; a son, John Tapley Jr.; daughters, Deane Marshall, Karen Tapley, Charlotte Dionne; six grandchildren, Marsha Pinkham, Markie Pinkham, Heather Tapley, Sarah Tapley, Bethany Dionne and Johnathan Dionne; two great-grandchildren, special neighbors and friends who were always there for him, Michelle and Frank Tuttle; sister, Ethel Tandy; two brothers, Robert and Paul Tapley."
