[47672] Arthur's 1938 death certificate states he was a photo engraver with Akron Engraving Co. His 1912 marriage certificate states he is an electrician and son of Daniel A. James and Louisa Thomas (their family is listed in Akron, Summit Co., OH in the 1 June 1900 federal census - Daniel [b. in October 1846] is a cabinet maker and his father was b. in Wales and his mother in NY - Louise [b. in July 1846] is of parents b. in OH). The 20 April 1910 federal census in Akron lists the family and Arthur is working for the telephone company and his father, Daniel, is superintendent in a "wood factory".
