She is survived by nine sons, Chandler of Alabama, Ronald of West Virginia, Bertram of Connecticut, Archie, Robert, Roy, Lawrence and Omar, all of Sullivan, Gardiner of Lisbon; nine daughters, Hazel Ellis of Bath, Josie Berry of Maryland, Ruth Kromstrom, Barbara Frazier and Audrey Rae, all of Bath, Gloria Severance of Kittery, Virginia Lewis of Washington, Jeannette Anderson of Franklin and Carol Merrill of Oars Island; one brother, Robert Strout of Milbridge; one sister, Ella Pinkham of Dyers Bay; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Cecil Leroy Whalen, Jr."
