Louis affianced their daughter Marguerite by the treaty of Gizors (1158) to Henry, eldest son of the English king, promising the Vexin and Gisors as dowry; Marguerite m. (2) in 1188 Bela III, King of Hungary. Louis' second daughter with Constance was Adelaide, betrothed to Richard the Lionhearted but finally married in 1195 to William III, Count of Ponthieu.

It was bordered by present Germantown Avenue, Hartwell Lane, Creshelm Creek a nd the Wissahickon, and is familiar to all who know Chestnut Hill. Note: Johannes &Anna Barbara emigrated to Philadelphia from Germany in 1715. Some of Johannes descendants evidently changed their surname to Kepler.
