[8002] "The Gordon Journal [Gordon, Nebraska], 7 March 1935," p. 1: "Frank Herbert Arnold son, of the late William and Sarah Arnold was born at Newport, Pa on the 6th day of October 1876. Here he spent his early days and received his education in the schools of that community. He was united in marriage to Miss Margaret Ferguson, at New Bloomfield, Pa., on the 15th day of December 1906. Four years later Mr. and Mrs. Arnold moved to Madison County, Iowa where they engaged in farming until 1918 when they came to Nebraska They have made their home on the banks of the Niobrara River until the present time. After an illness of some four months Mr. Arnold passed away In this city, on Thursday, February 28 1935, at the age of 58 years, 4 months and 22 day.s He is survived by his widow, two brothers, Harry and George Arnold and by five sisters; Mrs. Annie Smith, Mrs. Hettie Shade, Mrs. Catherine Kinzer, Mrs. Pearl Kenedy and Mrs Ethel Gesner all residing in Pennsylvania. Funeral services were conducted in this city Saturday afternoon. The Rev Fenton C. Jones officiating. Interment was made at the Gordon cemetery." Frank m. Margaret E.
