Mr. Farst was born April 19, 1907, in Richland County and lived in the Mansfield and Bellville areas most of his life. A 1926 graduate of Lexington High School, he was also a graduate of the Columbus Barber College and operated barber shops in Mansfield, Little Washington and Bellville for 65 years. He was a member of the Little Washington Congregational Church, where he had served as a deacon, trustee and usher. He was a charter member of the Bellville Lions Club and was an end man in the club's annual minstrel shows for many years. He was a former member and past president of the Bellville Board of Education. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Robert Heichel, Roma and James Gatton and Donna and David Turner, all of Bellville; eight grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; and a great-greatgrandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Chalfant Farst; two brothers; and two sisters."

Death was due to complications that resulted from a heavy cold and neuralgia. Mr. Fenstermacher was born in Heidelberg township, Lehigh county, the son of the late John and Elizabeth (nee Fink) Fenjstermacher. He lived in Heidelberg township all his life. He was a successful farmer and was ranked among the wealthiest farmers of the county. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Amelia (nee Neifert) Fenstermacher; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Leiby, of Germansville R. F. D. No. 1; Miss Ida Fenstermacher, at home; a son, David Fenstermacher, also at home, and three brothers. Edwin and Levi, both of Cunningham, and Phaon Fenstermacher, of Germansville R. F. D. No. 1. The funeral will be held from his late home on Saturday forenoon at 9.30 o'clock, followed by services and burial at Heidelberg church. Rev. H. A. Althouse and Rev. J. H. Longacre will officiate."
