[55400] Find A Grave memorial 72451477 states Walter served as an PF6 in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and provides his obituary: "Walter 'Reddy' Herbert Foster III, PE, ME, MfgE, President and Chief Executive officer of Foster Power Generation. Ltd. an engineering consulting firm specializing in gas and steam turbines which he founded in 1995. Reddy started his new journey after a brief illness on October 23, 2007, at his beloved Thorndike Pond Road home. He was born on April 15, 1945, in Old Town, Maine, son of Walter Herbert Foster Jr. and Hazel (Gertrude) Campbell Foster. Reddy pursued his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine in Orono and received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, at Worcester Polytechnic in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He was the recipient of the University of Maine School of Engineering Francis Crowe Award in 2005. He was the heart and soul of Foster Power Generation, Ltd. with a primary focus on Industrial and Power Generation including Steam and Gas Turbine systems, economic and mechanical development, design and manufacturing. The company will continue on under the leadership of his son Walter Herbert Foster, IV, Esq. Reddy has walked in the limelight of the inception of turbo-machinery and power plants; serving on a global basis from Israel Electric, PT BADAK, Indonesia as well as serving his local community and beloved New England States. Reddy is loved, cherished and adored by all, especially by his son and fiancé, Walter H. Foster, IV and Svetlana Voytenkova; his beloved ChristiAne Mason, very special friends Danny Bryan and Angel Hutchison; sister Katherine Foster Dall; brothers Banton T. Barker m. 1 March 1863 Abbie J. Varnum (b. 19 Oct 1846, d. at Castine, ME 13 Oct 1918), a dressmaker. Barker and Abbie had two daughters: Geneva Wardwell, b. 1 Jan 1865, d. 14 March 1936, buried at Castine, ME, m. William H. Hooper of Castine (b. 18 Dec 1865, d. 14 March 1936, son of William T. Hooper and Elizabeth P.) - perhaps had son Noah Brooks Hooper (b. 20 Dec 1886, d. 1973). Eva M. Wardwell, b. ca. 1871. The sloop "Geneva", built in Penobscot in 1871 (27 tons, 50.7 feet long, 18.2 feet wide and 4.2 feet deep), was named for his daughter. Barker and Abbie resided on the North Bay in Penobscot, probably where Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt
Hutchins reside in the 1990s, but moved to Castine in later years. The family is buried in the Castine Cemetery.
[24972] Dr. Harrison, op. cit. in notes for her son Stephen, states (p. 13) that Rose is daughter of Martin Wright (buried 10 April 2592 at Coney Weston) and Elizabeth _____ (buried 29 March 1598 at Coney Weston "as Elizabeth Wright alias Moer, widow, which suggests that between 1592 and 1598 she had married a man named Mower, Moer, or Moore. She left a will dated March 1598 and recorded in the Archdeaconry Court of Sudbury."
