[56098] Find A Grave memorial 70657372 offers: "Veteran of the American Revolution -- He was among the first to volunteer at the opening of the War, enlisting May 15,1775, under Capt.Ely Cook in the 6th Continental troops commanded by Col.Samuel H. Parsons, and was discharged Dec. 18, 1775. He enlisted again in Capt.Martin Catlin's company, under the same Colonel, and served nine months in 1776. He also served in Col.Erastus Wolcott's regiment, under Capt.Martin Kirtland, during the vear 1777. He was granted a pension Apr. 20, 1818. He was shoemaker by trade, and resided at Greenfield,MA until 1804, when he removed to Colrain, MA. Son of David Cone Jr and Temperance (Pratt) Cone. He married Sarah Cook on Dec 6,1786. Children: Robert Cone Jr, Jesse Cone, Anna Cone, Temperance Cone, Edmund Cone, Joel Cone, Sarah Cone, William Grinnell Cone, John Cone, and Orrasville Fowler Cone."

She was born April 3, 1922, in Eddington, the daughter of David and Effie (Mayhew) Keezer. She came from a large family of 14 siblings. Bertha married her Army-Air Force husband, David T. Mutzabaugh Sr., in 1942. She had four children, Lynda (Mutzabaugh) Goniwika and her husband, Raymond, of Michigan, David T. Mutzabaugh Jr. of Augusta, Joseph Mutzabaugh and his wife, Debbie, of Bangor, Cassandra (Mutzabaugh) Shaw and her husband, George, of Bangor. Bertha had four grandchildren in Michigan and nine great-grandchildren; and in Maine, a grandson, Michael Landry of Bangor; and a granddaughter, Carrie (Landry) Bourque and her husband, Josiah Bourque; two great-grandchildren, Paris and Draven Bourque. Bertha loved to cook and entertain and was a great gardener and seamstress. She loved to travel and did so worldwide with her military husband. She also had a large dish of ice cream every evening watching TV. Bertha was predeceased by her husband, David; her daughter, Lynda and her husband, Ray; and her parents, David and Effie Keezer."

[56350] Earl's obituary: "North Orland - Earl B. Orcutt, 72, of North Orland passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2024. He was born on June 30, 1951, in Castine to his parents Ralph Amos Orcutt and lora Margaret (Gray) Donnell. Earl grew up in North Orland on the family farm where he was taught values and work ethic. He graduated from Bucksport High School in 1969 then he started his work career. Earl started out doing concrete work for Reddy Eastman and Holyoke & Young before he started his paper-making career in 1972 at the St. Regis paper mill in Bucksport where he worked in production. He worked on the calendars and winders, also was a spare Forman and finally ended his career on #8 winder after 39 years. Along the way Earl fell in love with Rhonda Dorr and they got married in 1973. They had 5 children Scott, Nicole, Kristy, Kyle, and Jutin. Earl started a small farm to teach his kids the same work ethic as he was taught. Haying, cutting firewood and gardening became his life outside of the paper mill. He had many hobbies which included fishing, hunting, camping and enjoyed wood burning outdoor scenes. He especially enjoyed making clocks as gifts for different people where he would combine his woodcarving and wood burning skills. Earl really enjoyed his mill family as well. He spent several years playing softball on the mill league as well as going on white water rafting and fishing trips. Earl is survived by his son Kyle, daughter in-law Jessica, son Justin, daughter in-law Ashley all of Orland. Six grandchildren, Cameron, Lacy, Caleb, Amy, Emily, and Timothy. Three brothers and two sisters; Amos of Orland, Charlotte Snowman and husband Lional Harvey of Verona Island, Warren and wife Velma of Steuben, Mary Goode of Oop, Alabama, William and wife Sandra of Bucksport, and many nieces, nephews, and cousin. Earl was predeceased by his parents Ralph Amos Orcutt, Lora Margaret (Gray) Donnell, son Scott and two daughters Nicole, and Kristy."

Grief over the death of his wife less than two months ago was attributed in a large measure for the passing of Mr. Rebuck, who was in advanced years. Members of the family who had ministered to him constantly, especially since the death of Mrs. Rebuck, were at his bedside when he died. The following children survive: Daniel, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. William Reitz, Mrs. R. Snyder and Mrs. A. Heath, all of Trevorton; W. Rebuck of Red Cross; C. Rebuck, at home; Mrs. Dufendorf, of Sunbury. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Himmel cemetery at Rebuck."

D., who was seriously burned when her clothing ignited at an outside fireplace on their farm a short distance west of Loyalton, a week ago, died in the Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg, Wednesday, February 15th. July 5, 1881, Mrs. Romberger was born in Elizabethville, and was the daughter of the late John and Adeline Row Wirt. January 18, 1902, she was united in marriage to Mr. Daniel E. Romberger, who with four sons, Norman, Elwood and Nevin; Mark, Lykens R. D.; survive. Two sisters, Mrs. Florence Kocher, Lemoyne, Mrs. Ed. Batdorff, Lykens; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, also survive. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville, and Glen Chapter, Eastern Star, Elizabethville. Funeral services will held on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2 p. m. from the Buffington funeral home, 103 W. Main street, Elizabethville, with Rev. W. Z. Artz, pastor of Salem Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Maple Grove cemetery, Elizabethville."
