The deceased was the wife of George Seager, Sr., who preceded her to the grave five years ago. Her maiden name was Briner, daughter of Jacob J. Briner. She was a family of seven children, all dead except Jacob J., who lives near Akron, Ohio. Unto her were born five children, Anna M., died March 5, 1860, at the age of sixteen years. The remaining are Jacob, of Tobnyne township ; Malinda A. Anderson and Geo. D., of Jackson township, and Catharine E. Showers, of Lack township, Juniata county."

She is survived by her sister Judy and husband Bruno Lebel, brother Edward Ladd. Daughter Wendy and husband Doug Gray, son Bryant and wife Teresa Limeburner, son Craig and wife Tiffany Limeburner, son Cory and wife Yvonne Limeburner. Grandchildren Naomi and husband Ryan Dorr, Brandy Gray and partner Rob Wadsworth, Stacy and husband Daryl Astbury, Bridget Limeburner and partner Derrick Surprenant, Katrina and husband Matthew Mitchell, Brienna Limeburner and partner Jaden Porter, Ricky and wife Katie Limeburner, Misty Limeburner, Zephyr Martin, Ashley and Bryce Clay. Janet worked caring for Anita Harris on Dog Island, the Penobscot Nursing Home, Camp Fourwinds, cleaning, and alongside Dennis digging clams. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed listening and singing along with country music. Every now and then she would do a little jig."
