Count of Autun between 876 and 921. He married Adelheid von Auxerre, daughter of Konrad II, Graf von Auxerre and Waldrada des Etichonen, before 888. Duke of Burgundy between 900 and 921. He was was the Burgundian opponent of the Capets (the royal family) before 921. He died on 1 September 921 in Auxerre, Yonne, Burgundy, France. Richard I "der Gerichtsherr", Graf von Autun, Herzog von Burgund was buried in Ste-Colombe les Sens."
