[9241] "The Sentinel [Carlisle, PA], 7 July 1911," p. 4: "Walter Weibley, a well known stock dealer of this place, died at his home on West South street, near College, Thursday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock as the result of a sunstroke sustained three weeks ago, since which time he was confined to the house. Mr. Weibley was 43 years of age. He formerly resided in Perry County, from which place he moved to Kansas. Some years ago he moved to Carlisle and became a partner of former Prothonotary Joseph Cockley in the live stock business under the firm name of Weibley & Cockley. He was a kind and loving father and husband, and a good business man. He was a member of the First Reformed church. He is survived by his aged father, William Weibley, who made his home with him, his wife, a son, John, in the insurance business in Harrisburg, and a sister, Mrs. Alleman in Perry County."Walter farmed near New Kingston, PA.
