[33188] "Surnames of Fulton County Ohio and Before." Mark Lozer, on RootsWeb/Ancestry.com in 2012 offers: "He came with his family to Fulton Co., in 1865. Will was originally a plasterer by trade, but became a mail carrier of Delta, Ohio, retiring in 1907 because of ill health. His daughter states that she remembered the Doctor 'bleeding' him and throwing the blood away. He was much overweight and today would probably have been diagnosed as a diabetic. Diabetes was in the maternal side of his family and was inherited by his daughter. The farm was sold when Mary, the daughter, was about 9 years old and they moved to Eaton Co., Michigan. Civil War veteran - was 14 years old at the time of enlistment, but said he was 18." Find A Grave Memorial 7766467 reports "William enlisted in Company B, 49th Ohio Infantry, as a Private on 22 February 1864 and mustered out on June 17, 1864." William and Mary had seven children.
