She was the daughter of G. Edward and Estella Shearer Briner of Elliottsburg. She retired from teaching social studies and English at Boiling Springs High after 35 years; was a graduate of Shippensburg University and attended the Pennsylvania State University and Dickinson College; a member of Saint Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle, Cumberland Crossings Auxiliary and a former member of the Exchange Club of Carlisle. She was the widow of Donald W. Weibley. Surviving are three daughters, Arlene Arndt Morrone of Enola, Donna Hoffman of Berlin, N.J., and Doris Pina of Palm Bay, Fla.; a son, Ronald E. of Boiling Springs; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren."
