[40155] An unverified Cooper file in Ancestry.com in 2015 offers: "When William Cooper was born on March 29, 1727, in Buckingham, Pennsylvania, his father, Jonathan, was 50 and his mother, Sarah, was 35. He married Elizabeth Lydia 'Lidy' Ann Clark/Clarke in 1749 in Union, South Carolina. They had 14 children in 26 years. He died on June 23, 1775, in Union County, South Carolina, at the age of 48, and was buried in Cross Keys, South Carolina." This line requires further documentation.

The Mulvihill family web site - http://mulvihill.net/genealogy/MULV1.html - reports that James is son of William Feak (b. ca. 1450, d. 1500) and wife Marianne _____ (not verified). http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~barbpretz offers in 2014: "James Feake, elder son of William Feake by wife Marion, was probably born ca. 1484, as his age was given as 17 about the year 1501. He certainly married and had issue but was dead by 1523 when a son George is recorded several times in the Wighton Manor records for that year as holding property forerly belonging to his gandfather William and his father James. General Delafield would make this James identical with the testator in 1539 (no. 7), but George, son of the testator, was still a minor in 1539 and could hardly have held, in 1523, property formerly belonging to a father still living. About the same time [1501] James feke, son and heir of William Feke, brought suit in Chancery alleging that he was then seventeen years of age and that John Dobbes and others were seized of divers messuages in Wyghton and Hyndryngham to the useof William and his heirs, and that John Dobbs had committed waste and had pulled down a house, etc. (Early Chan. Pro., C I, Bundle 254, no. 15). He was one of the feoffees to uses appointed in 1533 under the will of Walter Brightmer of Wighton, deceased (Wighton Deeds, Bundle 3, no. 16, at Hokham Hall, Norfolk, Muniments of Easl of Leicester). [This is thought to actually be his son James according to 1993] As in case of his father, little is known of this man besides what is contained in his will of which a copy follows:
In the name of God amen 23rd of Jan 1538. I James Feke of Wighton make my last will my body to be buried in the Church of Wighton in the North Ile next the Sapulchre of my Father I will that George my son have my messuages with all lands in the east part of the Watyr (sic) in the Fields of Wighton & Hyndryngham when he reaches 21 years if he decease to remain to Simon my son and then to Robert my son & then to remain to William my son I will that my execturos shall sell all my lands that I have on the west side on the water to perform my will the reisdue of my goods I putthem to the disposition of my executors whom I make Agnes my wife & George my son. Proved 18 July 1539 at Walsingham. James Feake, whom we tentatively identify as son of the preceding James Feake (no. 2) and not as son of William, (no. 1), was one of the feoffees to uses appointed in 1533 under the will of Walter Brightmer of Wighton deceased (Wighton Deeds, Bundle 3, no. 16). As the name Walter does not appear in the Feake family, we forbear to suggest that James Feakes mother was daughter to Brightmer. This James Feake of Wighton made his will Jan. 23, 1538/9, probated at Walsingham July 18, 1539 (Norwich Archdeaconry Count - the abstract printed by Delafield is not quite perfect in that it omits the son James). Executors are son George and wife Agnes; supervisor, Edmond Framyngham of Colthorpp; witnesses: Simon Browen, vicar, Robert Glaise, Simon Dobyn, John M[er]chaunt et al."

[26627] In 2007 http://www.fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/HUNGARY.htm offers: "Salamon (1053-killed in battle 1087, bur Pula). The 'Chronicon Posoniense' records the birth in 1053 of 'Samson filius Andree regie. The 'Gesta Hungarorum names 'filium suum Salomonem adhuc puerulum' when recording that his father declared him heir to the throne in the twelfth year of his reign. Salamon and his mother took refuge at the court of his brother-in-law Heinrich IV King of Germany when his paternal uncle Béla usurped the throne in 1060. After King Béla I died in 1063, he was installed as Salamon King of Hungary with support from King Heinrich IV, whose suzerainty he recognised. Following continuing raids on Hungarian territory by Pechenegs, the Hungarians invaded Byzantine territory along the Danube in [1068], suspecting that the imperial governor of Beograd was sponsoring the Pechenegs. They captured Beograd in [1071/72] but did not retain it. The 'Chronicon Posoniense records that 'Salomon rex' invaded 'bulgarense regnum' in 1072. The dispute with Byzantium was settled by treaty in 1074. Although King Salamon had made peace with his cousin Géza, relations deteriorated between them and open warfare broke out in 1074. The 'Chronicon Posoniense' records disputes in 1071 between 'Salomon rex' and 'duce magno Geyza Ungarorum'. The 'Gesta Hungarorum' records that King Salomon was defeated at 'Munorod [Mogyoród]' and fled across the Danube to 'Musunium [Moson]', before moving his household to the monastery of Admont in Styria'. The 'Chronicon Posoniense' records that 'Salomon' was deposed in 1074. 'Heinricus . . . rex' donated property to Freising church by charter dated 26 Nov 1074 at the request of 'Salomon rex Ungarorum', presumably as part of the arrangements agreed for Salamon's exile in Germany. Ex-King Salamon returned from Germany and conspired against his cousin King László I after the latter's accession in 1077, but he was confined to the Tower of Visegrád. He was released in 1083 and returned to his wife in Regensburg, but she refused to receive him. Salamon invaded Hungary again with Pecheneg forces from Moldavia, but was defeated. He was killed fighting in Byzantine territory. His death is recorded in the Annalista Saxo in 1087. A different version of his final years is recorded in the 'Gesta Hungarorum' which states that ex-King Salomon retired to Pula on the Adriatic where he lived in complete poverty and was buried, never having returned to his wife. m (betrothed 1059, early 1063) as her first husband, Judith [Maria/Sophia] of Germany, daughter of Emperor Heinrich III King of Germany & his second wife Agnès de Poitou ([1054]-14 Mar [1092/96], bur Admont Abbey). The Annales of Berthold record the betrothal in 1059 of 'Andreas Pannoniæ rex . . .filio suo Salomoni adhuc puero' and 'sororem eius [Heinrici regis] minorem Iuditham'. The 'Annales Yburgenses' refer to the wife of 'Ungariam . . .[rex] Salemannum' as 'regis Heinrici sororem' but do not name her. The 'Gesta Hungarorum' records that King András forced the marriage of 'Salomoni regi' and 'Henricus imperator . . .Sophiam suam filiam', specifying that she had earlier been betrothed to 'filio regis Franciæ'. Having left Hungary for Germany after her husband was deposed in 1074, she was living in Regensburg when her husband attempted to reclaim the Hungarian throne. She refused to receive him when he returned in 1083. She married secondly ([1089]) as his second wife, Wladyslaw I Herman Prince of Poland ([1043]-4 Jun 1102). Her second marriage is confirmed by the 'Chronicæ Polanorum' which records that King W?adys?aw married 'sororem imperatoris tertii Henrici, uxorem prius Salemonis Ungariæ regis'. The 'Chronicon Polono-Silesiacum' specifies her name as 'Iudite'. The necrology of Weltenburg records the death 'II Id Mar' of 'Iudita de Polonia soror Heinrici imperatoris IV. The necrology of Regensburg St Emmeran records the death 'IId Mar' of 'Iudita regina'."
