His father was born at Kendallville, Indiana, and his mother was born in Scotland. He has one sister, Irma, who is the wife of Marian H. Walters, of Columbus, Ohio. Everett Brillhart was graduated from the Hastings High School and studied for six years at the University of Nebraska, where he received the degrees of Bachelor of Science in 1929, and Doctor of Medicine in 1931. Following this, he served an internship at Tulsa, Oklahoma. On September 4, 1931, at Tulsa, he was married to Bernice Fugate, the daughter of C. B. and Maude Wright Fugate, of Tulsa. Mrs. Brillhart has three sisters and one brother. Doctor Everett G. and Bernice Fugate Brillhart have one daughter, Sue, born January 1, 1934. She attends Kramer High School. The Brillharts made their home in Shelby, Nebraska, for fourteen years, 1932-1946, and Doctor Brillhart practiced there for nine years before World War II. During the war, Doctor Brillhart was a Medical Reserve Officer, and saw service from 1941-1946. He served with the 35th Infantry and was stationed at Little Rock, Arkansas, and Los Angeles, California, in the United States. His overseas assignments included England, France and Germany. She was born Jan. 24, 1929, in Tremont, daughter of Edwin and Thelma (Thurlow) Farley. In her younger years, Gloria loved to walk and swim in the ocean. She enjoyed dancing, picking wild berries and baking. She and her late husband, Elwin, were known all over for their beautiful flower, vegetable and pond gardens. Gloria also enjoyed doing crafts with her friends and special cousins, Margaret Patton and her husband, Pat. She worked for many years in both of the sardine packing plants in Bass Harbor and later cleaned cottages for several summer people and raising her large family. She will be missed by many good friends and caregivers. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Elwin Hodgdon; daughter, Linda Mace; and brother, James Farley. Gloria is survived by daughters, Janice Janes of Ellsworth, Noreen Wass and husband, Stanley, of Southwest Harbor and Evelyn 'Lynn' Wehrfritz and husband, Carl, of Seal Cove; grandchildren, Jennifer Janes, Mathew and wife, Kiara Janes, Eric Wass, Shannon Wass, Rochelle Wehrfritz, Lorelei Wehrfritz and Kristian Wehrfritz; great-grandchildren, India and Drake Janes; and son-in-law, Robert Mace and fiancee, Nancy Parsons."

' ...papers that indicate the possible baptism of (William), in the Nayland Church near Ipswich in Suffolk, England.' It was dated in 1610. 'October ye 20th daie', recording the baptism of "Willm sonne of Edward Holton. It is further learned that he was born at Wiston Manor Farm in the Parish of Holton St. Mary's. This homestead, which is not to be confused with Wiston Hall, the ancient manor house, has been the residence of Holtons even as late as the twentieth century... . He married Mary about 1630 in England. He immigrated in April 1634 to Boston, Suffolk Co., MA. He arrived in July on the ship Francis. He was age 23. The passenger ship list is printed in the 'Register,' Vol 14, pg. 331 where his name is listed as 'William Haulton.' On the last day of April, 1634, Rowland Stebbins embarked for America aboard the Francis, under Captain John Cutting, from Ipswich, England. With him were his wife Sarah, their children: Thomas, aged 14; Sarah. aged 11; John, aged 8, Elizabeth, aged 6. They also had with them Mary Winche, aged 15. It is unknown if she was related to Stebbins. He was one of the original proprietors of Hartford in 1636. William came to Massachusetts aboard the Francis leaving England in April 1634 and arriving in Boston several months later. In 1636 he was one of the first settlers of Hartford, Connecticut. William married sometime between 1637-1639, having left Hartford and ventured back to England where he stayed for three years; when he returned had a new wife, Mary. Their home lot in 1639 was on 'the road from George Steele's to the Great Swamp now Washington St.' William and Mary were original settlers of Northampton, Massachusetts; where they went in 1653. He was the first deacon there and erected by contract the first house of worship in Northampton. William was a representative to the General court in 1664-67-69 and 1671 and was Justice of the Peace. He introduced a motion in the General Court at Boston for the suppression of intemperance, the first known in American history. William and his family moved to Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts in 1655; where William was the first deacon of the church, ordained 13 MAY 1663. He was also a representative in 1664, 1667, 1669-1671, once for the town of Hadley. He died on 12 Aug 1691 in (Northampton, Hampshire Co.)(Ipswich), Massachusetts. William and Mary died within three months of each other, supposidly from a suspected disease or epidemic that had spread through the Connecticut River settlements."

Find A Grave memorial 29794761 lists his children and offers: "Son of Joseph Hutchins, Jr. b 1741 and Anna ___ of Kittery. Solomon was a Patriot in Revolutionary War. Solomon m. Hannah Lewis b. 1767. Solomon and Hannah raised their family on a farm located on the east end of Lovell Lake, Sanbornville, NH. They had 15 Children. Solomon Hutchins (Joseph, Samuel) born May 10, 1760, Kittery; died 3 Aug 1846 Wakefield, NH; m.5 Aug 1784, York, Hannah Lewis b. 7 Dec 1767; d 9 Sept 1838. Lived on a farm in Wakefield and buried in farm cemetery across road from their home.
Solomon enlisted Kittery and went to Cambridge while the British were occupying Boston, served two months. Re-enlisted for 12 mo in MA Service at Fort Sullivan. Oct 1777, entered on board (at Portsmouth, NH) the US Sloop of war 'Ranger', Capt. John Paul Jones, commanding, Thomas Simpson 1st Lt., Mr. Hall 2nd Lt., Mr. Sullivan, sailing master. He served as a Marine under Lt. Wallingford, sailed for Brest, France, was in action when the British ship 'Drake' was captured by the 'Ranger'. Lt. Wallngford was shot through the head by a musket all and killed. Solomon returned to Portsmouth NH and was discharged in Oct. On 27 Oct 1779 he again entered on the 'Ranger', Capt Thompson Simpson, commanding. Solomon was appointed Coxswain, took nine 'sail' of the Jamacan fleet, he was put on one prize which was retaken by the British and he was then taken to Halifax as a prisoner until the cartel arrived from Boston and he was redeemed. He returned to Portsmouth where the 'Ranger' was lying, went on board and sailed for Charleston, SC in the 'Ranger' with the 'Providence' and 'Queen of France'. At Charleston the 'Ranger' was blockaded and captured. Subsequently the officers, including Solomon Hutchins, and men of the 'Ranger' somehow escaped from the British and, under their own officers, traveled overland until, after many tribulations, they finally arrived back in Portsmouth.
