When Mary Amanda Cady (v) was born on June 18, 1834, in Weathersfield, Vermont, her father, Josiah, was 37, and her mother, Mary, was 29. She married Amos Belknap and they had four children together. She also had one daughter from another relationship. She then married Thomas Coughlin (v) and they had six children together. She died on September 6, 1907, in Windsor, Vermont, at the age of 73.
