[44408] Jacob is son of William Reapsome Dum (1842-1914) & Mary Catherine Fuller (1847-1929). "The Perry County Times [New Bloomfield, PA], 10 March 1960," p. 12: "Jacob M. Dum. 84, of W. Main street, New Bloomfield, a lifelong resident of Perry County and native of Spring township, died March 2 in Carlisle Hospital. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Dum was a member of the Shermans Dale Evangelical Un- ' Brethren Church. He celebrated his 63rd wedding anniversary recently. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Garber Dum; three sons, William, New Bloomfield; Raymond. New Bloomfield R. D. 1; and Paul Dum, Elliottsburg R. D. 1; a daughter, Mrs. Clair Mitchell, New Bloomfield R. D. 1; two brothers, James Dum, Elliottsburg, and Josiah Dum. Landisburg R. D. 1; two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Rheam, New Bloomfield, and Mrs. Amanda Ritter, Carlisle; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren."
