[50391] Hazel is daughter of Orren Cunningham Dean (1873-1939) & Margaret Ann Innes (1873-1950; m. 10 September 1898 in Boston, Suffolk Co., MA).
[25461] Sarah is daughter of John Faust. "Lykens Register [Lykens, Pennsylvania], 17 May 1900," p. 2: "May 12, 1900, Mrs. Daniel Welker died after a severe illness, extending over nine weeks, and this sad termination had been looked for a month ago. The immediate cause of her death was gastro-intestinal hemmorrhage, several times repeated, due to hypertrophic cirrhosis of the liver. The family can be classed among the oldest residents of Lykens valley. Only several years ago they left the farm to enjoy advancing years and a well earned competancy in town, Mr. Welker identifing himself with town affairs, and is one of our councilmen. The bereavement does not belong to the family alone. The happy and kind disposition of Mrs. Welker made her a very agreeable addition to our social family. The family relations are extensive and favorably known. David is a cousin."
