He was born April 8, 1879, in Dark County, Ohio, but had lived in Millersburg for 73 years. He was married April 10, 1900, in Goshen to Blanch Robinson who died in December, 1959. He is survived by a son, Richard, of Millersburg, two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and by two brothers and a sister, Ora, of Ligonier, and Jesse, of Millersburg, and Mrs. Earl Holtzinger, of Goshen. Funeral services will be held at 2, p.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. Rev, John Stacy and Rev. William Arbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery."
