[7466] "The Perry County Democrat [Bloomfield, PA], 20 March 1907," p. 3: "Elizabeth C. Foust, widow of Adam Foust, died at East Akron, Ohio, Feb. 20, 1907, aged 64 years, 5 months and 25 days. Mrs. Foust was born October 25, 1842, on the old Briner homestead at Mount Pleasant, Perry county, Pa., which has belonged to the family since 1809. Elizabeth was the third daughter of the late George and Magdalene (Seager) Briner. She was married to Adam Foust, of Madison township, who died of typhoid fever about ten years ago. In the fall of 1899 she went to Shelby, Ohio, and later to her aunt Amelia and cousin Geo. F. Briner at Akron, Ohio, with whom she resided until her death. In December, 1906, she was taken seriously ill with heart trouble and dropsy, from which she never recovered; but owing to the kind and faithful services received at the hands of her cousin and aunt, she was enabled to rally for several weeks. The deceased is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Sallie A. Miller and Mrs. Magdalene Eby, of Mount Pleasant; Mrs. Hannah M. Brown, of McCrea, Cumberland County, and three brothers. John H., of Mount Pleasant; George S., of Carlisle, and Daniel, of New Bloomfield. A fourth brother, Jacob, died in April, 1901."

[42337] This person is from the unverified Roberts Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2017. Her home town is described by https://2irelands2gether.com/2014/08/31/is-this-the-least-known-historic-village-in-ireland which offers: "Kells and Connor have a proud place in the history of Ulster and Ireland. As its Heritage Trail booklet (beautifully produced by the Kells and Connor Community Improvement Association) outlines in fascinating detail, St MacNissi, a disciple of St Patrick (who is believed to have tended sheep on nearby Slemish mountain during his first period of slavery in Ireland), built a monastery here. By the 11th century Connor boasted a Romanesque cathedral richly decorated with Celtic carving and standing at the centre of a populous settlement led by the Ó Floinn family, part of the Uí Thuirtre confederation, who had successfully resisted the Norman invaders for many years. Connor continued to thrive under the Normans. An Augustinian abbey was built and in 1178 a Norman, Reginaldus, became Bishop of Connor. Its golden age ended when a Scottish army led by Edward Bruce, who had recently declared himself High King of Ireland, defeated an Anglo-Norman army before sacking this then strategically important town in 1315. It was never to recover its previous significance. In the early 17th century Kells and Connor were part of the Ulster Plantation, and were settled mainly by Scottish Presbyterians. They were to become two of the Norths most predominantly Presbyterian villages (they still have no fewer than four Presbyterian churches of various denominations). The religious revival which was to sweep Protestant Ulster in the late 1850s began in a school hall near Kells." Ancestry.com offers: "Irvine Name Meaning - Scottish, also common in northern Ireland: habitational name from Irvine in Ayrshire, which is named from a Celtic river, Welsh ir, yr 'green', 'fresh' + afon 'water'."
