She was born January 7, 1961, in Bar Harbor, daughter of Walter W. (Bud) and Ann (Bunker) Sargent. Sueann grew up in Bar Harbor and graduated in the class of 1979 from MDI High School. Following graduation, she worked on and near MDI for local businesses in the hospitality industry and as a highly skilled seamstress. She would often borrow her brother William's dog, Ivy, for rides to the local bank for a biscuit and was always available to 'pet sit' when needed. She had many very special kitties in her life as well over the years, whether her own or that of her family and friends. She doted on them all. She enjoyed working on and keeping Sargent family genealogy records, history and pictures. Sueann is survived by her partner, Gary Kane of Trenton; her brother, Glen Sargent and wife, Mary, of Lincolnville; her brother ,William Sargent and wife, Susan, of Trenton; her aunt, Susan Newman of Southwest Harbor; her uncle, Raymond Bunker Jr. and wife, Ellen, of Whitehall, Montana; nieces, Elizabeth, Emily, Colleen and Natalie; numerous cousins; and many friends that will all miss her."
