[57397] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 11 July 2022: "Orono - Ray F. Corson Sr., 77, of Orono, Maine, passed away at home on July 8, 2022, after a long illness. Ray was born on July 19, 1944, to parents Albion Corson and Dorothy (Heath) Corson of Canaan, Maine. Ray was a loving father and devoted husband. Ray devoted nearly twenty years of dedicated service to our country in the Army National Guard, and subsequently was a successful sales professional in the furniture industry. Ray was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt deer, rabbits and birds, as well as fish for trout and salmon. He especially loved to hunt and fish with his son, Ray; brothers, Andy, Gordon and Roy; brother-in-law, Wayne, and nephews. Ray also loved feeding and watching birds and wildlife, watching Westerns, and tinkering on automobiles, especially his Jeep CJ5. Most importantly, Ray was a kind and generous man, often gifting his possessions to those less fortunate than himself. He regularly helped elderly neighbors in need without ever being asked to do so. He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 57 years, Paula Gagne Corson; and his son, Ray Corson Jr. and daughter-in-law, Stacy Nightingale, of Gray, Maine. He also leaves behind sister, Kay Fotter and husband, Wayne, of Pittsfield; and brother, Roy Corson and wife, Beverly, of Salem, Oregon. Ray was predeceased by brothers, Gordon and Anthony Corson. He also leaves behind 3 grandsons, and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins."

Radnor, deputy to his father-in-law (Gilbert Talbot), then Justice of South Wales, commissioner for Gilbert Talbot's castles. Philip is son and heir of William ap Hywel, living in 1286.
