When Viva Viola Southard was born on January 4, 1907, in Ridgeway, Michigan, her father, Franklin, was 56, and her mother, Viola, was 40. . . . . She died on June 19, 1990, in Atlanta, Texas, at the age of 83, and was buried in Coldwater, Michigan."
