Brillhart, pioneer farmer of the community south of Carnegie died Saturday, Nov. 24 at his home west of Alden. Funeral services were conducted at the Green Valley school house by Rev. W.C. Crawford and interment was made in the Green Valley cemetery. William Henry Brillhart was born Nov. 2, 1860, near Fosteria, Ohio, died Saturday at 4:30 p.m., Nov. 24, 1928, near Alden, aged 68 years and 22 days. He was united in marriage to Sarah C. Robart, Aug. 3, 1880. To this union three children were born, Elsie Maud who died at the age of 15 months, Ervine Elroy, of Lansing, Mich., who visited his parents a short time ago and was unable to be here at this time, also Mrs. Edna Grace Smith of Alden. He was converted at the age of 25 and united with the Dunkard church. After coming to this country he united with the Methodist church in 1912. He lived a devoted christian to the end. He was in failing health for several years and suddenly took worse early Saturday morning and all was done that loving hands could do, but God saw best and called him home. He leaves to mourn his departure a wife, two children, seven grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters, other relatives and host of friends to mourn his death."
