"Daniel Heim was the seventh child of John and Sophia (Kohl) Heim. He was born 4 Jan 1816 in Washington Twp, Northumberland Co. He was baptised 3 Jun 1816; sponsors were George Erdmann and wife. He married Mary Hornberger 23 Oct 1836. mary was born 2 Mar 1816, a duaghter of Goerge and Catherine "Polly"? (Maurer) Hornberger. Mary died 14 Nove 1896.
Daniel died 18 Apr 1895 in Sunbury, PA. They are buried in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbruy.

"Alexander Gonser was the first child of Peter and Lydia (Heim) Gonser. He was born 20 Aug 1856. He married Elizabeth Geist (a daughter of Abraham and Elizabeth (Hepler) Geist) 30 Aug 1890. Elizabeth was born 19 May 1859 and died 24 Feb 1935. Alexander died 11 Apr 1917. Both are buried in Lewisburg Cemetery, Union Co.
"Israel Gonser was the second child ... He was born 10 Oct 1858 and died soon after birth.
"Galen Gonser was the third child ... He was born 11 Nov 1860. He married ?. Galen died 19 Nov 1906 and is buried in Pomfret Cemetery.
"Sarah Alice Gonser was the fourth child ... She was born 24 Oct 1861. She marrried Landis Josiah Shaffer in Dec 1901. Landis was born 6 Nov 1840 and died 16 Jan 1941. Sarah died 11 Sep 1926. They are buried in Shoop's Cemetery, Colonial Park (Harrisburg), PA.

She was born on February 18, 1915 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Harry F. Hartzell, and Florence M. Hocker. Miriam was retired from the Pennsylvania Automotive Association. She was a member of the Reilly Hose Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and the Pennsylvania Archeology Society Chapter 10 of Dauphin. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved to go to the Beach. She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Hepler Jr. Miriam is survived by her son George W. Hepler III of Dauphin, her two daughters Evelyn M. Wheeler of Dauphin, and Ruth E. Palomba of Harrisburg, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren."

The Pennsylvania 1910 Miracode Index lists him as head of household with wife Laura E. (age 38) and father, Conrad S. (age 70), along with children James (13), Margaret (9), Florence (8), Conrad (6), Edward (5), Alvin (2) and Sarah (NR). The 2 Jan 1920 federal census of Saville Twp., Perry Co. shows the family: Elmer E. (age 59), Laura (49), Bertha (27), James (21), Margaret (19), Clarence (18), Conrad (16), Edward (13), Albert (12), Sarah (10) and Elmer (8). Elmer E. Rice was a director of the State Bank of Ickesburg in 1927. See "Kohler Klan and Kissin Kin" on the Web at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com. The 1930 census of this family lists children Alvin [sic] (age 22) and Elmer (20). "The Perry County Times [New Bloomfield, PA], 1 January 1948," p. 4: "Elmer Ellsworth Rice, 86, a retired farmer, died at his home in Ickesburg early Sunday morning, December 28. Surviving him are five sons: Clarence W., Conrad, Albert L., Elmer H., all of Ickesburg, and Edward O., of New Cumberland; one daughter, Mrs. George McMillen, of Loysville ; one step-son, James Rice, of Markelsville ; two step-daughters, Mrs. James Gloss and Mrs. David George, of Newport; one brother, Edward, of Port Royal, and one sister, Mrs. Amanda Rice, of Harrisburg. She was a graduate of Framingham State College in Framingham, Massachusetts where she also spent most of her childhood, and as a young adult worked as a licensed real estate broker. Gloria was a loving and caring person who was always the first to help someone in need. She deeply loved all of her family, friends, and pets. She is survived by her siblings: Homer Woodward Jr. and wife, Deborah, of Cherryfield, ME, Brenda and husband, Brian Kelly, of Hopkinton, MA, and Evans Woodward of Hopkinton, MA; many loving nieces and nephews; three aunts: Lillian Shaw of Harrington, ME, who was much like a second mother, Gloria Flaherty of Addison, ME, and Marion Plummer and husband, Michael, of Harrington, ME; an uncle, Everett Ramsdell of Harrington, ME, and many special cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Carle Woodward; aunts and uncles: Marjorie Ramsdell, Violet Lemay and Rosemarie Palmer, Raymond Shaw, Stanley Flaherty, Andrew Ramsdell Jr., John Lemay, Cliff and Marie Parker, Lurlene and Charlie Morris, Thelma and Johnny MacLean, Nadine and Virgil Crowley, Lucille and Benny Backman, Guy and Ruth Woodward, Keith and Georgie Woodward, and Evans and Helen Woodward."
