Strout of 38 Sixth street, died Wednesday in a Bangor hospital after several days illness. A resident of this city for 32 years, she was born in Poland, Maine, April 29, 1877, the daughter of George and Hannah (Tripp) Walker. She and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary together in 1945. Surviving besides her husband are four sons, Stephen L. and Alvin R. of Old Town, Irving M. of Livermore Falls, and Robert M. of Douglaston, Long Island, N.Y.; four daughters, Mrs. Peggy Field and Mrs. Dorothy Bloodsworth of Old Town, Mrs. Lillian Bense of Livermore Falls and Mrs. Gladys Busby of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Record of Auburn and Mrs. Eunice Buckler of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, George E. Walker of Lewiston and Ernest Walker of Auburn; 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren." Annie is daughter of George Washington Walker (1849-1931) & Hannah Elizabeth Tripp (1854-1939).
