[44292] Ray Kohler' files in "Kohler Klan and Kissin Kin" at https://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com offers his obituary: "Valentine Wisehaupt, of Turbett Township, died on the 21st of July [1880] and was buried in the family burial ground on his farm on the 23rd. Quite a number of people followed his remains to their last resting place. He was a connecting link between the 18th and 19th century; we have only two other links in Turbett. He was born in Lancaster County, Pa., February 22d, A.D. 1797, and was aged 83 years, 4 months and 30 days. He was married to Elizabeth Saylor, who died several years ago, aged 48 years. They had one child William Lepley residing on the farm. He came with his father (Valentine by name) to Turbett in the year 1801 when he was only 4 years old. With his father came John Bender the progenitor of all the people of that name in this Valley. Valentine, Sr., was married three times and two of this wives were sisters of the said John Bender. From these several unions they raised nine children. The subject of this sketch was the last, except for one, Mrs. Brandt, of Perry County, and was well the favorably known in this county. The Wisehaupt's, Bender's and Rice's came to Turbett Township in 1801."
