Kent, England and was church warden in 1578 and 1579; owned considerable property; will 7 Sept 1582 was proved 13 Feb 1583 and names children including James and Lyonell's wife Isabell - James rec'd 2 tenements in Canterbury - Isabell was apparently a recent 2nd wife & not mother of James (whose mother is unknown).

He married Rachel Bridges Carter on 16 January 1850, in Maine, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 7 daughters. He registered for military service in 1862. He died on 1 September 1913, in Pembroke, Washington, Maine, United States, at the age of 84, and was buried in Dennysville Cemetery, Dennysville, Washington, Maine, United States."

[28773] George never married. He worked for many years for the Charles B. Scott Co. in Scranton, PA and r. with his sister, Mary, in the later years before dying of a heart attack. His grave marker records "PENNSYLVANIA PVT 11 MOTOR CO MTC WORLD WAR I". "The Scrantonian [Scranton, PA]. 23 July 1961," p. 10: "The funeral of George Hudak, 1322 Madison Ave., Dunmore, will be held from the Chipak Funeral Home, Madison Avenue and Mulberry Street, Tuesday with mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. John's Greek Catholic Church. Interment, St, John's Cemetery, Minooka section. friends may call 2 to 4, 7 to 10 p.m. Mr. Hudak died Friday night after a heart attack at his home. A native of Austria-Hungary, he lived here 55 years. He was a son of the late Andrew and Julia Hrivnyak Hudak. A veteran of World War I, he was employed 26 years in the electrical department of C. B. Scott & Co. He was a member of St. John's Church and has served as a former choirmaster there. Surviving are three sisters, Julia, this city; Mrs. Michael Macinsky, Dunmore; Mrs. Andrew Dranchak, Lancaster, four brothers, Stephen, Dunmore; Michael, Phoenix, Ariz.; John, Dundalk, Md., and Peter, Trenton, N.J., and several nieces and nephews."
