She was born May 24, 1924, the daughter of Merrill Willey and Edith Matthews of Milbridge. Violet is now in heaven with her husband, Norman Farnsworth Sr., and her youngest daughter, Truth Young. She is survived by her other three children, Rachel Newenham, Norman Farnsworth Jr. and Elsie Tracy. She left behind a dedicated granddaughter who was always there for her and loved her very much. She had several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was a kind and happy soul; everyone loved her. She worked in the woods piling and hauling logs alongside of her husband for many years. She made the best baked beans and molasses cookies. She loved her family and they loved her. She will be remembered always as her lifes stories are past on to other generations."
